The Graces Review

The Graces by Laure Eve

Like everyone else in her town, River is obsessed with the Graces, attracted by their glamour and apparent ability to weave magic. But are they really what they seem? And are they more dangerous than they let on? This beautifully-written thriller will grip you from its very first page (Goodreads).

Although the beginning seems like a normal obsession to get closer to the perfect and strange Graces family, the sudden twists and turns throughout the book will leave you hungry for more. In my opinion, the middle of the story may seem a bit slow paced, but the secrets the characters have and the many questions that I have built up would be answered in the grand finale, making it worth your while. The book really reflects on the darkest desires and mysterious past that anyone close to you could have without you realizing.

Anyone with an interest with the supernatural and romance would be recommended to read this book. At the end of this novel, you would undoubtedly fall in love with the Graces, or maybe you are just entwined by one of their magical spells?
